Congratulation to David W and Paul P for passing the BJCP Tasting Exam! All participants in the 2022 class scored at least a 70%, which is the minimum to be ranked as Certified; there were two who scored over 80% and one over 90%!

About Kevin Cowan

Kevin Cowan is a craft beer enthusiast who specializes in customer service, logistics and results. Kevin was born in Forrest City, Arkansas, but is a long-time resident of the Greater Baton Rouge area. He graduated from Denham Springs High School and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University. During his 28-year military career, Kevin earned numerous qualifications, to include Journalist, Combat Medical Specialist, Public Affairs Officer, Environmental Officer and Human Resources Officer. Through education, training and experience, Kevin developed a keen ability to approach any situation and produce winning results. Familiarization with and excelling in numerous career fields has allowed Kevin to become flexible; a keen ability to meet any challenge or development. Kevin’s passion for craft beer spiked when he was hired to run the warehouse for Tin Roof Brewing Company in 2012. That passion has grown over the years and now he spreads that passion by providing top-notch customer service as General Manager for Keg Solutions. In his spare time, Kevin is an award-winning homebrewer and serves on the board of directors for RedStick Brewmasters, Baton Rouge’s oldest and most decorated homebrew club. He currently lives in Baton Rouge with his wife, Veronica and their Cocker Spaniel, Lil’ Man and their Chi-Weenie, Hershey Nugget.
